Helo is an early-stage platform that connects clients with independent service providers. Currently, Helo mainly provides basic features such as posting service requests, matching users, and enabling communication.
Users may voluntarily submit a government-issued ID or driver's license for Helo to perform a limited document review. Document review is not required to use Helo, so not all users have completed it.
“ID reviewed” means only that Helo performed a limited review of the document a user submitted. It does not mean Helo has completed a criminal background check, credit check, license or insurance verification, work-authorization check, skills certification, or continuous identity monitoring, and it does not guarantee that the document is genuine and valid, that the submitter is always the person shown on the document, or that the user is honest, safe, reliable, or suitable to provide the service.
Helo does not currently process, hold, guarantee, or refund any funds. All payments are arranged by the client and service provider themselves and completed off-platform. Helo also does not provide insurance, advance compensation, service-quality guarantees, mandatory cancellation compensation, dispute adjudication, or emergency safety services.
Any skills review, full identity verification, background checks, platform payments, escrow, user protection, compensation, dispute handling, and other planned features mentioned on product pages, demos, prototypes, roadmaps, or other materials are unavailable until Helo expressly announces that the feature has launched, and do not constitute a promise regarding the feature's content, launch timing, or service outcome.
Helo cannot guarantee any user's identity, qualifications, integrity, safety, ability to pay, or service quality. Before hiring, accepting work, paying, meeting offline, or allowing someone into your home, please verify the relevant information yourself and take reasonable safety precautions.
